                                  TOUR DISCRIPTION

DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO LIMA / WELCOME TO PERU Reception at the aiport in Lima and transfer to the hotel - Overnight.

DAY 2 LIMA / PARACAS / PISCO Morning is the travel 4 hours to Pisco by private transport or luxury public bus – At 11 am is the tour to the national reserve of Paracas and short hike inside of this reserve. Overnight in Paracas / Pisco. (B).

DAY 3 PISCO / SANDBOARDING / NASCA Excursion to the Ballestas islands (08.00/10.00) by speedboat – Transfer to the Huacachina Oasis and try to do sandboarding / Dune buggy on the huge sun dunes – 2 hours travel to Nasca, by private transport or luxury public bus - Overnight. (B).

DAY 4 NASCA / NASCA LINES / AREQUIPA In the morning flight over the Nasca Lines in light plains and land trip Chauchilla cemetery where there are real mummies as old as 2000 years – Afternoon travel to arequipa by private transport or luxury public bus - Overnight in Arequipa. (B).

DAY 5 AREQUIPA / SANTA CATALINA MONASTERY / CITY TOUR Reception at the bus station and transfer to the hotel - Morning to visit the Santa Catalina Monastery and leisure afternoon - Overnight. (B).

DAY 6 AREQUIPA / HUAMBO / CABANACONDE / COLCA CANYON Departure to the Colca canyon in our private 4WD, travel to see the rest of the north part of Desierto de Atacama and drive up to the highlands crossing the valley of Vitor, Alto Sihuas, El Pedregal – short explore the remains of Wary culture named Huacan – Visit the south part of the Volcanoes range named Pampa Qerqe – Ampato mountain viewpoint (4300m). Arrival to Cabanaconde and lodging in the hotel - Afternoon is at leisure - Overnight. (B – L - D).

DAY 7 COLCA CANYON / PUNO Early morning short hike to the Condor Cross - After wait for the Condors flights – Visit several villages on the left bank of the second deepest canyon in the world - Arrival to Chivay and lunch – 6 hours travel by private transport to Puno - Overnight. (B – L).

DAY 8 PUNO / TAQUILE AND AMANTANÍ ISLANDS Full day excursion by motor boat on the Titicaca Lake to visit the Uros - Taquile and Amantaní islands (07:00 - 17:00). Overnight in Puno. (B – L).

DAY 9 PUNO / CUSCO Early breakfast and departure to Cusco by luxury tourist bus – Stopping at different places like La Raya pass (4250m), Sicuani (Lunch), Raqchi and Pikillaqta archaeological sites - Arrival to Cusco and lodging at the hotel - Overnight. (B – L).

DAY 10 DISCOVER CUSCO Morning is at leisure for personal activities or optional visits – half day tour visit leisurely tour of plaza de Armas, colony Churches, Qorikancha sun temple, Saqsayhuaman moon temple, Qenqo, Pucapukara, Tambomachay. Overnight. (B).

DAY 11 CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley to visit Inca sites and Andean markets of Pisaq, Calca, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo – Overnight at this valley. (B – L).

DAY 12 OLLANTAYTAMBO / HUAYLLABAMBA / INCA TRAIL Transfer to the 82nd Km. We'll arrive at the Inca town of Llactapata and spend some time exploring this site before continuing up the Cusichaca valley to the hamlet of Huallaybamba where we camp for the night. (B – L - D). 

DAY 13 HUAYLLABAMBA / PACAYMAYO / INCA TRAIL After breakfast, the toughest part of the trail begin, walking towards the highest point in the Inca Trail where you will have an unbelievable panoramic view of the whole area and will observe different types of microclimates - After a 3 hours walk you will reach the first pass, named Warmywañusca or Dead Woman’s Pass, at approximately 4,200m Here, you will have a tremendous feeling of achievement mixed with relief on reaching the top - After lunch you will continue your walking down to Pacaymayo camping place. (B – L – D).

DAY 14 PACAYMAYO / PUYUPATAMARCA / INCA TRAIL Today, a steady one to two hour climb takes us over the second pass where we pick up out first real signs of paved Inca road, climbing an impressive carved stairway to the minor ruins of Runkuracay. Continuing up this Inca stairway we cross the pass and drop down to the major and spectacular ruins of Sayaqmarca for lunch. Passing cloud forest to our camp site at Puyupatamarca. (B – L - D).  

DAY 15 PUYUPATAMARCA / INCA TRAIL / MACHU PICHU / CUSCO Passing through the Inti Punku (Gate of the Sun), we arrive to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. Complete guided tour, and then late in the afternoon train back to Cusco. Overnight. (B – L).

DAY 16 CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO / AMAZON LODGE Early transfer to the airport and flight to Puerto Maldonado - Transfer by motor boat to our jungle lodge in the middle of the rainforest. During the trip into the heart of the rain forest we will be able to observe clouds of butterflies, typical Amazon communities, while groups of birds pass over the boat and animals such as capybaras turtles and caiman - After dinner we will return to the river to search for caimans. We will enjoy diverse sounds of the jungle which will accompany our first night in the Amazon. Overnight in the lodge. (B – L – D).

DAY 17 JUNGLE EXPLORE / TAMBOPATA Morning transfer by motor boat on the Tambopata River for two hours and half to the Bahuaja- Sonene National Park. Great opportunity to see animals such as capybaras, tapir, Jaguar, and deer, parrots, parakeets and macaws of various species, enjoying their diet of mineral salts on a river bank. After lunch we will enter the verdant jungle on a special trail to observe wild life. Time permitting; we will be able to enjoy a relaxing swim in the cascade of the cat. After dinner we can make another trip through the jungle, search for caimans or relax in our lodge surrounded by exotic nocturnal sounds. (B – L – D).

DAY 18 TAMBOPATA / LIMA Early in the morning transfer to the airport by motor boat - Flight to Lima - We offer you a good bye lunch and Inca Tours Peru souvenir - Aternoon transfer to the airport. (B - L).
